Welcome to Special Education - Marlys Flavin
Thank you for visiting my Moodle page. I teach sixth grade special education language arts and math in the small group setting. Generally, students will not receive daily homework assignments in these small group classes. However, it is an expectation that students read every day for twenty minutes. Students may check books our of our classroom library or the school library. I also provide homework and organization support during house time. If a student needs my help during house time, they must get a pass from me in order to leave homeroom.
Tips for Success in 6th Grade
Use the planner daily Organize binders daily View grades/missing assignments on school view regularly Print teacher calendars so you know what is coming up Bring pencil, planner, binder, and a book to class every day Regarding the day to day calendar, the daily content will change based on the student's needs.
