    Mrs. Ingebritson's First Grade Class

Welcome JPEGWelcome to our first grade class page! Thomas Lake classrooms are now all peanut-free areas. First graders may bring one nutritious snack (no drinks) to be eaten as a morning snack. In order to assure the safety of students with allergies, the only allowed snacks are fresh fruit and vegetables, cheese cubes, rice cakes and crackers (made without nut products). All snacks should be ready to eat without the need for teacher assistance. Inappropriate snacks will be sent home with the student.

Students are encouraged to read daily. Each student has a brown envelope with a leveled book inside of it. Students can choose a new book each day that they return their brown envelope.

Party invitations cannot be distributed at school due to hurt feelings when a student is not invited. We will celebrate summer birthdays during the last week of school in June.

Dress your child according to the weather for the day. Students are outside at recess and on PE days when weather permits and athletic shoes are required for participation and safety. PE class is every third day. Please refer to our monthly calendars for PE, music, and IMC days for our class.

Thank you for helping your child be successful at school by providing support at home.
