If you attend a high school or professional play performance, you can get extra credit. Just write up a review of the performance and turn it in with your ticket stub. Please see me if you need further details on writing a review. Here are some upcoming high school shows.

Get ready for the musical trip of your life. Delivering a Decade: OnStage 2009 will travel back over the last ten years, reprising some of your favorite musical numbers with our present-day students. It's bound to be the biggest crowd-pleasing OnStage ever staged. We want you all there to celebrate TEN grand years of entertainment!

Leapin’ Lizards! The popular comic strip heroine takes centerstage in one of the world’s best loved musicals. “Annie” is a spunky Depression-era orphan determined to find her parents, who abandoned her years ago on the doorstep of a New York City Orphanage run by the cruel, embittered Miss Hannigan. In adventure after fun-filled adventure, Annie foils Miss Hannigan’s evil machinations, befriends President Franklin Delano Roosevelt and finds a new family and home in billionaire Oliver Warbucks, his personal secretary Grace Farrell and a lovable mutt names Sandy. Memorable songs include Hard Knock Life and Tomorrow. Newsweek has called it “Spectacular on every count” and the New York Post adds “at the heart of musical comedy, big warm-hearted, funny and overflowing”. This musical promises fun for the entire family! Admission is $9 for adults, $7 for senior citizens and $5 for students. BOX OFFICE OPENS TUESDAY, DECEMBER 1 FROM 5-8 PM for walk in sales only, daily from 2:30-4:00 pm as long as tickets are available and one hour before show time. This year ENCORE! again migrates to its winter home packing all of the musical and dance talent that audiences have come to expect from Eagan High School students through the years. The silent beauty of a winter night, the warmth of a special holiday memory, the comforting nostalgia of holiday songs and traditions will all be evoked in the musical selections for this year’s show.
Please join our talented performers as they attempt to help you ward off those winter doldrums (you know they’re on their way) with laughter and memories, holiday traditions and a hearty cup of musical winter cheer. Snowbirds are welcome, but this show is really for those who can’t seek the sun and survive amid the ice and snow. We hope you and your family will join us and allow our holiday efforts to provide a warm escape from your winterscape.
