Welcome to Global Studies

- Global Studies is a regional study of the world, centering on the geography, history, culture, and current issues of the area being studied. Units of study include: Introduction to Geography, Latin America, the Middle East, Europe, the former Soviet Union, South Asia (Indian Subcontinent), East and Southeast Asia, Africa, and Australia.
- In Global Studies, each student will do in depth research of a particular country. “Adopt-A-Country” projects will one “at home” project to be completed each trimester, in addition to assignments done in class. See the “Adopt-A-Country” packet.

If students take a test at home, they must print out their score at the end of the test, have a parent sign it indicating that they were supervised while they took the test with nothing more than what is allowed on the test. PB
