    cool It was a GREAT Season!  Thank you all for your hard work and dedication to the team.  Thank you to all the parents for rides, flexibility, understanding, and most of all providing a great experience for your children.  I am getting great response and thank you for making "golf a game for a lifetime" for many of our team members.  Thanks for the feedback!

    Summer Opportunities:

    Junior PGA Torunaments:  There is still time and availability to register for events.  Some events are full, but if you don't  mind a little drive there is a lot of space open.  MN PGA Junior Golf

    • Results

      Bunker Hills Invitational - 31 teams played in the Bunker Invite in Coon Rapids.  RHS finished with a score of 227 and finished in 15th place.  Leading the Irish was Nick Peare with a score of 76.  Also playing for RHS was Parker Trana, Connor Humble, Wyatt Ebner, Noah Anderson and 

      SSC Event #1 - Wyatt Ebner led the Irish with an 80 around Valleywood GC on Monday under cloudy skies and 78 degree weather.  Also counting for the squad was Nick Peare and Connor Humble scores of 84 and Parker Trana shooting 86.  Nate Roberts had his first top 10 finish on the JV side with an 85. The team was only 7 strokes out of 5th place but finished 10th.   I will update the JV with AV and Farmington when the official results are posted.

      Hill Murray Invite - 10 Teams played in the Hill Murray Invite at Indian Hills GC on Monday, May 2nd.  Rosemount placed 2nd overall with at team score of 326.  Team Medalist honors and 5th place overall was Matt Jelinski with 78 and runner-up was Connor Humble with 80.  Also counting for the Irish was Parker Trana 83, Nate Roberts 85.  Nick Peare and Wyatt Ebner also played in the event.  Hill Murray won the event with a team total of 314.  

    • Captains 2016

      Captains on the team are leaders and will be available to help with day to day questions.  They have been around the game and on the team for a minimum of 2 years prior to being named "Captain".  Younger players should seek them out and learn from them.  They have experience and a positive attitude.

      • Booster Club

        The RHS Boys Golf Booster Club was organized to support the players, coaches and parents of team members.  It is the intent of the Club to work with the Coach to give the players the best possible High School Golf Experience and to help develop skills that will last a lifetime.

        Head Coach Bob Boldus


        Coach Bob Boldus started as Head Coach for Eastview in 2001.  Coach Bob was the Head Golf Professional for Fox Run Golf Course in Yankton, SD and the Head Coach for the Mount Marty College Boys and Girls Golf Program prior to moving to MN.  In Minnesota I have worked as a PGA Golf Professional and Assistant Manager for Golf Galaxy, Instructor at Buck Hill Ski School and Teacher and Coach for District 196.  Currently, PGA Teaching Professional at PGA-MSP Airport, Head Alpine Coach for Eagan and Eastivew, Owner of At the Wheel Drivers Education and give private and group golf lessons.  I have just accepted the position as Tournament Manager for the MGA and will begin working for them on Monday, April 25th.  Together with my wife, Jennifer, we have 3 beautiful and active children.

        Coach Gruepner has been with the RHS Boys Team for many years and prior to that he was the Head Coach for the Framington Tigers Golf Program.  Coach G has a great rapport with the players and is a valuable resource for us on and off the course.  It sounds like G has a story for every occasion.

          2016 Sections will be played at Bunker Hills Golf Course (East/West) on June 3rd and June 6th.  

          Our Section will play a 2 day event to decide the Individual and Team Section Champion.  To get to the 2nd day of Sections you must place in the top 5 teams or advance as an individual by placing in the top 10 not on the top 5 teams.  

          The winning team at Sections and the top 5 individuals not on the winning team will advance to State.
