| 3 | This Week in Second Grade...
We celebrated Veterans' Day by reading America's White Table. Thank you to any who have served our country!
In math we started learning about tens and ones and the definition of the word digit. This weekend ask your child to do some counting by tens.
We began publishing our first story yesterday. We have fixed up our stories by looking at the beginning, the end, our spelling, and punctuation. Now it is time to fancy up our stories by publishing.
To wrap up our communities unit we made a human bar graph of what kind of community our class would want to live in. Seven students chose to live in a suburban community and twelve students chose to live in a rural community.
