    Welcome JPEGWhat is American Studies? The 7th grade American Studies curriculum begins with The New Republic, and ends with Moving Toward the Future.  We will cover American History from 1800 to present time.

    If you are having issues launching the online textbook using Internet Explorer Settings (Windows Computers), the following are a set of instructions that may help.

    1. Launch Internet Explorer.
    2. Access Mr Menk's Moodle Page.  Highlight and copy the Online Text Book link.
    3. From the Internet Explorer Tools button, choose Internet Options
    4. Click on the Security Tab and select Trusted Sites / Click on the Sites button.  Paste the Online Text Book link into the Trusted Sites.  Click Close.
    5. Click on the Privacy Tab and under Pop-Up Blocker, click on Settings.  Paste the Online Text Book link into the allowed websites.  Click Close.
    6. Click OK.
    7. Launch the Online Text Book.  Enter students Username and Password (case sensitive)
    8. Click on TextBook.

    Welcome to my home room. I am looking forward to working with you and your parents and helping you have a very successful year.

    My goal is to use this block to keep you and your parents informed on our home room needs and concerns. I also hope that we use this block to communicate and provide each other with information as it pertains to our home room.     Dear Parents and students,

    Our mid-day schedule is listed below. During mid-day, students are expected to work on homework or read a book. They are expected to be on time and bring pen, pencil, paper, homework, and a book to read to mid-day. They have been given a folder which includes a reading goal sheet, reading log sheet, book report form and homework log sheet. They are expected to write one book report each trimester. This folder will be shared with parents at conferences.
