HAPPY NOVEMBER!
In American Studies, we will brave rainstorms and snowstorms as we study about Explorers to the New World this month. Mr. Boyle will be teaching on Green Days and Ms. Hoffmann will teach the Red Day classes. We will culminate our studies at the end of the month with a massive research project. The students will research and create an Explorer Cube on one explorer. After their information is graded, the students will construct their cubes in class and display them in the Media Center.
In Study Skills, we will continue our new unit of Study Skills and Listening. We will emphasize memory skills, discover our best learning styles, how attitude affects learning, learn the Keys to Success, and do exercises to improve learning skills. There will be a review and unit test this month as well.
Enjoy the end of fall and make sure to leave room for pumpkin pie on November 26!
